My Brother ended up moving out almost 4 years ago and I haven't seen him since. MY wife and I kept attending SeaCoast Grace Church in Cypress, Ca., and the only reason we ever went was to support my Brother.
In 2005, our Pastor Doyle Surratt was giving a sermon on the New You for the New Year. I had also just returned from my first Missions trip to Kampala Uganda where my son and I worked at an orphanage with a medical team. I decided to give my life to Christ and try getting sober. In January of 2006, I went on another mission trip, this time to India and I was baptized in the Teesta River. I came back from India and our Pastor gave a sermon entitled "Saved By Grace" and asked me to share my story with our congregation. I ended up doing so and then was invited to join "Celebrate Recovery" a 12-Step Christ based recovery group at our Church. I finished the 12 steps in October of 2006, and became a leader in November, and am now taking a group of 15 Men through the 12-Steps. I have been sober since January 1st, 2006 and remain strong today due to God's grace.
I give my testimony once a month at local Churches and also am now working on the Missions team at our Church and just returned from Kampala Uganda in March where I started training 10 different Churches in a Christian based 12 step program (not Celebrate Recovery) and will go back in August of this year with 4 other leaders to finish the training and assist with a Big Event launch in their country.God has been great to me, and saved my life, my marriage, and has provided me with the resources to give back locally, as well as around the world. I have been to Africa five times, India once, and am also going to San Salvador in July of this year to spread the word.
My bike is a 2006 Bog Dog K9, and it was stock and solid black when I purchased it. It has a 117 inch S&S motor, a Baker 6-Speed transmission, a 300mm rear tire, air bags, and as you can see, the entire bike has been customized to become my rolling testimony. The rear fender shows my past (that's why it’s behind me) The tank is an actual photo of me, with Christ saving me. Those are my tattoos and that's me in His arms. The bottle is a bottle of Padron Tequila. The rear fender shows me at my desk, surfing the internet for porn, with Padron, and lines of Meth.
The sides of the tank show the burst of light from Christ Jesus, and also the three crosses on the hill with the caption "Saved By Grace"
The fenders have clouds on them outlined with the crown of thorns going from the front fender through the oil pan covers back to the rear fender and are also on my helmet. I have the same picture that is painted on my tank also tattooed on my right arm. I have a complete sleeve done of all Christian tattoos. I will attach some photos of the guy who painted my bike and also the guy who did my sleeve. Rock and Roll Paint in Orange, California did all of the customization on my Chopper. Sharkey's Tattoos in Sunset Beach, California did the artwork on my arm.
