Sam Wiley was born in Maracabo, Venezuela on Jan 9th 1970. He grew up with his father Sam, who worked in the oil business, his mother a homemaker along with his older brother Darrell. Sam lived there until about 1, when he got sick and was put on company jet and flown to Clarksburg WV.
Growing up Sam was sick a lot, to a point where doctors said he would have to live in a bubble glass. It got so bad that in 1 year he had pneumonia 9 times and clinically died twice. At the age of 7 he left WV and moved to Louisiana where he had to overcome a lot of racism. At age10 he moved to Ojai California. There he got into a lot of bad stuff, mainly through music. His fascination with heavy metal and bands like Ozzy, ACDC, Slayer, Motley Crew, Twisted Sister and others, began to shape his character. Soon both him and his brother was living fast, wild and dangerous, exposing themselves to drugs, sex and alcohol along with every risk involved in such a lifestyle.

Reflecting back, the Lord spared his life many times. Thankfully at 13 he fell in love with a Christian Band named STRYPER and their unique sound. Throughout the years they became his favorite band, raising him out of some very dark and troublesome moments in his life. Sam graduated high school and soon after, moved to Oklahoma City with his family. Then feel in love with his high school friend Jill, had his first child Megan, whose now 14. Being young and inexperienced he made many bad decisions from which the results thereof propelled him into a deep state of depression and anger. He was later married and a couple of years after moving to Columbus Oh where they had their twins Sara and kaitllyn, which are now 7 years old. He was still trying to find God in his life. He tried to please everyone else but himself. He cried out to God and found once again the voice of the Lord through the powerful tool of music in his childhood band STRYPER.

The Lord directed him to Bikers For Christ and while in heavy contact and relationship with the church he started to engage with the BFC ministry. During this time he was still struggling with the marriage and a couple of years later the marriage ended in divorce. After the family break up things seemed hopeless. He tried to make the relationship work even after the divorce but it still did not work. During this time he maintained a respectful and consistent connection as a member of BFC and minister of BFC. He has now been a member of BFC for six year. The Lord brought him out of many trials and tribulation and the Lord has showed himself strong to Sam, thanks in large part to BFC.Sam always wanted to feel like the Lord needed him and called him for a work and in the Summer of 2006 the Lord answered.

One day, when returning from work, Sam witnessed a young woman struck by a car at about 50 mph right before his eyes. He rushed to the seen and saw the girl lying there in very bad shape. She got knocked out of her shoes and her jacket from the impact. He reached down and grabbed her hand and said a prayer, gave her a small pocket bible and gave her a contact number as the squad arrives. That very night he gets a call from the mother thanking him for the prayer. The daughter stated that as he prayed for her she felt the power of God come through the prayer and then she knew she was going to be ok. The mom indicated that the Lord had done a miracle because the daughter was being released from the hospital that very same night. He knew it was a miracle because he witnessed the car hitting her at almost 50 miles per hour and he knew that as he approached her she was going to be dead but the Lord spared her life. So that became a defining moment in his life. His prayers had always been why is everyone else experiencing these powerful miracles and testimonies but I was not seeing it or nothing was happening to me. I wanted to be used. And that day he answered my prayer.

Now his life’s desire is nothing more than to get on his bike and to make himself available for God to use him wherever, whenever and however to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through BFC and his life.
